When Phil was serving Harriman Architects and Engineers as the manager of the Construction Administration group, he also served as the client liaison and project manager for all Shaw’s Supermarket projects throughout New England. During that 6 year time, Phil built a relationship of trust providing excellent service to Shaw’s and Harriman Associates. AS Phil’s time at Harriman came to a friendly close, PML was born and was immediately pursued to manage several Shaw’s Supermarket plaza projects in Vermont and New Hampshire. At that point in Shaw’s history they were unveiling their 65,000 sf prototype which Harriman Architects had developed. The complexity of these new supermarkets, the tight 6 month timetables, and the frequent addition of another sub-anchor tenant in these plazas, such as 45,000 sf Staples stores, created an intense management challenge that PML and the project teams were quick to step up to, meeting success at each site.
